The EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) will come into force on December 13, 2024, which will have a significant impact on all non-food consumer goods sold in the EU. Most non-food consumer goods sold by companies in the EU need to meet the requirements of this regulation. If they fail to meet the requirements within the deadline, the goods will not be able to be sold to the EU, otherwise they will face regulatory penalties, product bans and recalls.

In order to comply with the requirements of GPSR, suppliers need to complete the following: 1. Designate an EU responsible person (EU representative); 2. Product certification and labeling; 3. Timely complete and display product labels.
